Jeremy Mayall - Registered Marriage Celebrant in New Zealand
So... If you have found yourself at this website, then chances are
you are engaged. Congratulations! Marriage
is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure of human relationships.
No particular ceremony can create a successful marriage; only you can do that –
but a unique celebrant can help you to make this special day even more
memorable.
As a Registered Marriage Celebrant, I believe in helping to create your perfect day by creating a custom ceremony for your wedding. This is one day where everything should be about you both… It is a celebration that you'll share with your family and friends, so it is important that your ceremony is how you want it to be.
It is important to have a ceremony that suits your personality and as if you are looking for something a bit offbeat, quirky, alternative and unique, you have found the right place. Many celebrants are excessively stuffy and formal… but I have a background in theatre and am also a musician, so can bring an element of performance to your day. I will work with you to create the right words that will leave everyone with a lasting memory of your special day.
Marriage in New Zealand requires a registered Celebrant to solemnise the couples vows to each other in the presence of two witnesses. If you are having an outdoor ceremony it is a good idea to have an alternative venue in mind in case of bad weather – and make sure that venue is also recorded on the marriage licence application.
It is a good idea to meet with your celebrant before making any decisions, so please call me so that we can arrange a time to meet.
